The very first Sunday service we held, with no advertisement other than what the Haven of Rest activity center generated, we had over two hundred people come to hear God’s word! We were completely flabber-gasted and elated.

“Our” original idea was to build a wall in the middle of the building, with the chapel on one side, that would have allowed us to expand our previous chapel capacity to as many as sixty men. The offices and the activity center would be on the other side. That was our idea.
