Application Requirements
- APPLICATION FEE – All (non-refundable) application fees are to be submitted with the application form.
- SCHOOL RECORDS – Copies of previous school(s) records including all educational and diagnostic testing, transcripts (for 8th – 12th grades), and report cards (from the last two years) are to be submitted. Not applicable for Pre-Kindergarten students. Student’s attendance records and discipline record are relevant to the admission’s process at NFCS and should be available.
- BIRTH CERTIFICATE – A copy of the student’s birth certificate is requested from all students.
- HEALTH RECORDS – Health information forms and immunization records are required before the first day of class. Immunizations records must include month, day and year of each shot, and the health care provider's signature or stamp. Students who are not in compliance with state immunization guidelines will not be allowed to attend school. Students entering NFCS for the first time must submit a current physical exam with the physician's signature or stamp. A special sports physical form is provided for students participating in athletics.
Admissions Testing
Testing will be scheduled by the Admissions Office after the receipt of all required Admissions forms. NFC accepts the Stanford 10 Test scores for students in grades 1-12 who have taken that test at any location. For students not taking the Stanford 10 Test NFCS will administer the Stanford Achievement Test (SAT). If the student has taken the SAT within the last six months, please notify the Admissions Office.
Parent Interview
An interview appointment is made with the parents and the Admission’s Director once all relevant material is available. This interview is an opportunity for philosophical compatibility discussions, a question and answer session, and a time to assess whether NFC’s program meets a student’s needs. If testing is complete and results are available, scores will also be reviewed during the interview. Students entering 5th - 12th grade are asked to accompany their parents for the interview.
Acceptance
Official acceptance (or non acceptance) will be communicated to all families in writing.
Tuition Obligation
When a student is enrolled the parent assumes responsibility for a full year’s tuition at the school. Should it become necessary for a student to transfer for reasons beyond the parent’s control such as an employment change requiring relocation out of the service area, the parent will be responsible for the tuition payment through the end of the current month of the student’s enrollment.
Non-Discriminatory Policy
North Florida Christian School admits students of any race, color and national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color and national or and ethnic origin in administration of its education, admissions policies, tuition assistance, athletics and other school-administered programs.
