North Florida Christian School students enjoy a wide range of fine arts opportunities including instruction in, instrumental and vocal music, pep band, jazz band, drama and musicals, praise and worship performance music, the visual arts, and theatre. Students can participate in local, regional, and state events. Ministry opportunities include performing in chapel programs and other ministry events. Music students compete in the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and School Fine Arts festivals and the NFCS Band participates in the Florida Bandmasters Association assessments. Led by an experienced, godly, and competent team of teachers, the Fine Arts department is equipped to lead students to enjoy God's creation, take dominion of culture for the glory of God and the moral improvement of others.

The Fine Arts program at North Florida Christian School seeks to undertake their goals from a Biblical perspective thus making music or any form of art an act of worship and service to the Lord which calls for the highest form of excellence, stewardship, and discipline.

The North Florida Christian School Band is a combination of marching band, pep band, concert band, and small ensembles. It requires each student play an instrument and be willing to learn. It takes commitment, dedication and devotion to the group for the program to succeed, but the rewards go beyond other extra-curricular activities.  As the program grows, we hope to build memories that will keep students interested in music as a lifelong endeavor, no matter where God leads them in their lives. Music is a very powerful art form and by the grace of God we can harness it and express our love for Christ through it.

Through our program in the arts, we teach students the importance of leadership while instilling in them respect for the discipline required for their performance of excellence. Students develop the character and values that are the hallmark of effective leaders.
